Acceptable use
Signed Together is a place for messages, photos, and GIFs shared between people who know each other. By using this service, you agree not to upload, post, or share any content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or that infringes on someone else's rights.
Zero tolerance for explicit content
Warning:Explicit or NSFW images & GIFs are 100% prohibited, no exceptions. Uploading such content will result in immediate account suspension and removal of the offending card. This applies to every contributor on a card, not only the card's creator.
Reporting a violation
If you see content on a card that violates these terms, please contact us with a link to the card and a description of the issue. We review every report and act on confirmed violations as quickly as we can.
Account suspension
Accounts found to have uploaded explicit, NSFW, or otherwise prohibited content will be suspended immediately, without prior warning. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account at our discretion to keep the platform safe.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in access (your email, password, or connected Google account) secure, and for anything that happens under your account. Please give us accurate information when you sign up, and let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Your content
You retain ownership of the messages, photos, and GIFs you upload. By posting to a card, you grant us the right to store and display that content as part of the card experience, including to the card's recipient and other contributors on that card.
Respecting others' rights
Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share: copyrighted photos, someone else's private information, or content that impersonates another person. Don't post sensitive personal data (like ID numbers, passwords, or financial details) about yourself or anyone else on a card.
Prohibited conduct
Beyond explicit content, you agree not to: spam or flood a card with abusive contributions; use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the service; attempt to bypass any access controls (card links, tokens, or login); upload malware or harmful code; or otherwise interfere with the service or other users' ability to use it.
Payments & premium features
Premium upgrades (custom backgrounds, fonts, effects, and scheduled delivery) are one-time purchases tied to a specific card, not a recurring subscription, and there is nothing to cancel. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we don't store your card or payment details ourselves. Because a premium card unlocks digital features immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once used. If something went wrong with your payment, please contact us and we'll look into it.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Signed Together, remove content, or disable a card at our discretion, in particular for violations of these terms, to protect other users, or where we're required to by law. You're welcome to stop using the service at any time.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Signed Together is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Privacy
We collect the information needed to run the service: your account email, the cards and messages you create or contribute to, and delivery details for the recipient. We don't sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on what we collect and how it's used.
Marketing communications
We'll only send you marketing or promotional emails if you've opted in. You can change this preference at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. We'll still send you essential emails about your cards and account regardless of this preference, like delivery confirmations and sign-in codes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Signed Together will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Signed Together after a change means you accept the updated terms.
